whirlwind

this weekend is going to be a zoo of events & socializing. which i adore. but at some point i'm truly hoping to get some mellow painting & writing done. it's been far too long since i've edited the poetry fragments taking over the art room. it's been far too long since i've put any paintings on etsy or ebay. it's been far too long since i've written a new song.

but then... perhaps i'll just loaf with friends & wine. that's good too. :)

My ideas, stolen again.

About a year ago when I was noticing the billions of condos being built on the lakeshore, I thought it sad that only half of the residences have a lake view. I thought, hey - why don't they make a building that rotates a quarter turn every week, so that everyone can share the view?

An Italian architect is working on a very souped-up version of this, and it will be built in Dubai, naturally.

i hate guns. unless you're a law enforcement professional or live on a farm where you need to protect your livestock from rabid wolves, i see no good reason that sane people should own guns.
