colour theory is your friend
Restaurant review of The Harbord Room
http://www.eyeweekly.com/food/review/article/25934
They mention the restaurant is painted an odd pink colour.
According the the photo and description "Pepto Bismol pink", it sounds like it's very close to Baker-Miller pink. A colour which promotes calm, diffuses aggression, and... SUPPRESSES APPETITE!
Nice pick there folks. Good thinking.

I remember when the McDonalds on Hwy. 400 in Barrie opened with pinkish decor back in the 80's. The theory was that the colours were picked because they generally started to irritate people within 10 minutes or so, ensuring quick turnover in the dining room.
It was probably an (ex-)urban legend but why else would they pick such horrible colours?
fast food places use lots of tricks to get people to move along after 15 minutes... the decor, the music, the seating. but in a nice restaurant? very odd.
